Calliope News
Over the last few days, we have focused on improving the gameplay experience: a more practical interface, more pleasant graphics, better PvP synchronization, and several important balance adjustments.
Target Metin Queue
The automatic Metin selection system has received several improvements:
- Metins are added to the list with a left click.
- Premium members can automatically select 8 nearby Metins with a single click.
- Moving with the movement keys immediately cancels the automatic attack.
- The markers of selected Metins are more visible, regardless of their size.
- The system description and icons have been updated.
PvP and synchronization
- Situations in which players appeared in different positions on the two clients have been reduced.
- Synchronization is properly restored after teleporting or changing maps.
- Normal hit-locking remains possible, but players should no longer be pulled back from abnormal distances.
- Several situations in which a skill could miss even though the opponents appeared close enough have been corrected.
- Wolf Pounce no longer misses when used close to the enemy.
- Wolf Pounce movement is now displayed more naturally for other players as well.
- Additional monitoring against unauthorized modification of PvP animations has been added without affecting normal techniques used to escape hit-locks. If an application attempts to manipulate the animations, we will receive warnings.
Name visibility
- The position of Metin names has been adjusted according to their size and level.
- On the Dojang map, participant names can be seen from a greater distance.
Event rewards
- Rewards for Tanaka and Hide and Seek have been increased.
Ganesha Dungeon
- We have removed some of the repetitive steps.
- The first stage remains unchanged.
- After the second statue piece, the complete statue is built immediately.
- Steps 3 and 4 have been removed, including the two waves, keys, gates, crystals, and their corresponding pieces.
- The stage with the four guardians begins immediately.
A more practical interface
- Windows preserve their position more reliably when the game is resized.
- If the resolution becomes too small, windows are repositioned only as much as necessary to remain visible.
- The mini-event window can be moved and its position is saved.
- A custom resolution selected by resizing the client is retained.
- The option pages have been combined into a single window with a new design and simpler navigation.
- Smoother transitions have been added for categories, inventories, Wardrobe, Hunt, Dungeon Panel, Ranking, Solo Missions, and Search Shop.
- The state of visibility buttons has been made more intuitive.
New display options
Several new customization options have been introduced:
- adjusting map brightness without affecting the interface
- changing the size of Metins
- four camera distance levels: Close, Medium, Far, and Very Far
- direct selection of the FPS limit
- automatic saving of preferences.
A brightness value of 100% represents the games original appearance.
Graphics
- Bug fixes for integrated Intel graphics cards that rendered in-game models with abnormal colors.
Calendar, events, and information
- Event icons have received clearer interaction effects.
- Calendar tooltips are easier to read and less opaque.
- Events that take place at the same time can now be displayed correctly.
- Monster drop information is displayed in a slot-based window that automatically adapts to the number of items.
- Item tooltips in the private shop have been corrected.
- Completed Biologist missions are now displayed correctly.
