EN Gameplay & QoL Analysis and Many Improvements

Published on 06.Aug.2026 17:57
I have begun a complete review of the gameplay experience, from level 1 all the way to the maximum level. Throughout this process, I will adjust elements that no longer align with my current vision and introduce Quality of Life improvements designed to make the game more comfortable, intuitive, and dynamic.

The changes listed below were implemented over the past few days and represent only the beginning of the games improvement process.

The update will be available in-game starting this weekend and may include more than what is listed here.

Drops and Economy

- The drop tables of all Metin Stones have been reworked.
- Dungeon keys have been replaced with a single item: Treasure Key. Its drop rate is adjusted according to the level of the Metin Stone.
- Talisman Bonus Changers can now be obtained from Metin Stones.
- All bosses now offer an improved drop rate for Talisman Bonus Changers.
- Blue Books have received a new icon and can now be obtained from low-level Metin Stones, as players receive a companion starting at level 1.
- The Meteorite System has been refined, and its important items have been moved to the General Store.
- The Gautama map provides a specific item required for crafting.

Shops and NPCs

- All weapons, armor, and shields previously dropped by low- and mid-level Metin Stones have been moved to Map1 and are now available at the Weapon Shop, Armor Shop, and Storekeeper.
- The NPCs providing belts, beta accessories, Nemere PvM armor, Fire Shoes, and various other items have been reorganized.
- These items are now available from clearly visible and easily accessible NPCs in Map1, reducing confusion for new players.

Queue and Automation

- The free Queue limit has been increased from two to four Metin Stones.
- The Queue can now be activated with a simple left-click, without requiring the Shift key.
- An automatic Skill Book reading system has been added.
- The auto-stack feature has been optimized and now merges items consistently.
- Opening multiple items at once is now faster and no longer causes major screen freezes.

User Interface and User Experience

- The mini slideshow next to the minimap can now be clicked to display the next event immediately, without waiting for it to change automatically.
- Auto-pickup no longer causes FPS drops when the inventory is open and contains a large number of items, including on farming characters.

Skills and Guilds

- Guild skills have been fixed, ensuring that all of them function correctly and can be used without issues.

PvP and War Maps

- A 2v2 Dojang event has been added.
- The issue causing players to become stuck in the arena walls has been fixed. As a backup solution, arenas enlarged by 30% will be used if the initial fix proves insufficient.
- In Warzone, inaccessible areas are now properly blocked. Ninja characters can no longer attack players from a distance while standing in locations where they cannot receive damage.
- The entrances on the Guild War map have been widened.
- An issue that allowed players to become stuck in the fences during Guild War has been fixed.

Optimizations and Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue where stacked weapon skins lost their reputation grade when separated from the stack.
- The FPS Unlock code has been recalibrated for the new DirectX 11 graphics engine.
- Animation deviations occurring after extended periods of being AFK have been eliminated, resolving visual inconsistencies during PvP.

Reintroduced Maps

- Gautama (level 90+) has been reintroduced. The map is divided into areas intended for different level ranges and contains three bosses visible on the atlas.
- All three bosses now drop an important item introduced with this update.
- Metin Stones now drop another item introduced with this update.
- Yellow Map2 and Red Map2 have been reintroduced.
